About the Blog
The Blog of Sid Love was started on 12th March, 2013 with a sole aim of promoting those M/M fictions that have quality and uniqueness in them. The blog struggles to give such books and their works the much deserved recognition by posting reviews, running giveaway contests for the authors, featuring their newly published works for promotion, hosting blog tours, conducting author interviews and lots more!
The blog has received great amount of popularity since its inception. As on date, the blog has caught attention of 1000+ followers in just five months and brings on approximately 100+ unique visitors each day (250+ unique visitors on a peak day!). On an average, two book reviews per day are posted on the blog and there are contests on a weekly basis to keep the readers and authors entertained!
In July 2013, it was decided that the Blog of Sid Love would expand its horizons and not only promo/feature M/M books but will cater to every book in the GLBT genre. As the punchline for the blog says – “It’s all about Quality and Satisfaction…”

ABOUT THE OWNER
Sid Love is an avid reader and a freelance writer from an urban region of India, with strong aspirations to be a successful novelist one day. He is a member of the Gay Authors community and is listed to be one of their promising authors.
Other than the story that helped him win NaNoWriMo, he has several stories published under his name on the public domain. His most recent story “The Life of Him” was nominated for two categories for the Readers Choice Awards on GA.
As a reader, he prefers almost everything in any genre as long as it keeps him entertained. While creativity, uniqueness and drama impresses him a lot, over-descriptiveness, over-sweetness and bad editing makes him cringe.
He has a degree in Accounts and Finance, and a Masters’ degree for the same. Also, Sid has developed keen interest and skills in professional Graphic Designing/Animation.
MEET THE REVIEWERS
“Hi, my name is Heather C, known primarily by my Internet friends as simply ‘HC’. I’m a Clinical Nursing Informaticist by day and voracious smut reader by night. In other words…I’m a Registered Nurse with a fancy desk job and lover of romance novels.
“I have been reading for as long as I can remember! I’ve read through all kinds of genres, but since I discovered M/M Romance several years ago this is basically where I live now. I do try to read at least 1-2 M/F Paranormal Romances or Urban Fantasies a month just to keep up with some of my favorite series. The M/M Romance community is amazing and I’ve found many friends for life since joining Goodreads.
“I don’t consider myself picky, although I have friends who tend to disagree. Maybe a better word would be ‘selective’. I prefer plot before porn and I LOVE lots of sexual tension. My two favorite tropes are gay-for-you and friends-to-lovers. And I love a good mystery. I’ve even been known to read a few historicals now and then. I’m willing to give anything a try as long as it comes highly recommended.
“Before, I’ve only ever reviewed for fun and closure, so you can imagine my surprise when Sid invited me to join him here on his blog. I’m still trying to figure out how I really got here, but I’m really looking forward to giving it 100%. I’m so excited to be part of the team.”
“Hi all, Elizabetta here. You may have read some of my reviews on Goodreads where I tend to prattle on and have been known to, ahem, post some lovely pics. Like many others, I have fallen under the spell of gay romance and erotica. I enjoy the whole gamut, from light, frothy, fun stories, to coming-of-age Young Adult tales, to sci-fi/pnr tentacle love, to very dark, push-the-boundaries reads.
“We know that sales in erotica in general, have taken off with the advent of the e-reader but gay romance has also grown in popularity because we are undergoing an age of enlightenment concerning gay rights. What better promoter for increasing awareness and understanding than through reading? Gay romance writers work as ambassadors to help spread the word that ‘love is love’. This is valuable PR.“Having said that, I firmly believe that this genre should hold up to the same scrutiny as mainstream literature so I read not just for entertainment but also for solid construction, good flow, and uniqueness. It’s all about plot and execution. I will give a book a higher rating (even if it has some edit flaws) if it can adhere to some or all of those criteria and pull at my heart. No book, like no person, is perfect — but can it grab us and give us a shake? That’s what it’s all about! Wishing you happy reading!”
I’m a shy, quiet 23 year old from South Florida who hates the heat. My life revolves around school, work and reading, even though I never picked up a book, unless it was required for school, until a few years ago. Once I discovered the joy of reading, I became addicted to all things words.
I became a reviewer a few years ago to help me sort out my feelings for each book I read. My tastes range from contemporary to fantasy, short and sweet to downright naughty and everything in between but what I like largely depends on the mood I’m in. I even like to spice it up with a little m/f once in a while but m/m will always be number one in my heart.
